The Robox Platform

Your Personal Robot-In-A-Box

The Robox is a 3D Printer that is more like a mini-factory. It has a rigid stainless steel construction ensuring high degree of accuracy while Printing as the steel will not warp or buckle. Robox has a Modular Head System/Extruder, that the Makers refer to as the Headlock System, which allows the Robox to 3D Print, Stylus Cut (engraving), and perform other functions as well. Robox is a high quality 3D Printer with a focus on Plug-and-Play functionality. Robox boasts a Print Resolution of up to 20 Microns, eliminating the need for Finishing.

Loading Filament unto the Robox is simply placing the Filament unto to the retainer and putting the tip of the Filament into a feeder and the Printer does the rest. This primarily automatic mechanism saves you from fumbling with tangled or reeled-off Filament. You can even remove a partially unused reel because Robox has an eject button that neatly returns the Filament to you! Robox also auto-calibrates before each Print Job so you don’t have to worry about figuring out

Perfect For Your Home Or Office Desk

what adjustments you would need to make to your Printer which would normally have to be done when using various types of Filaments for your projects or having to reset the Print Bed or Extruder height when Printing objects of various heights.

Robox further speeds up your experience by having a Dual Extruder/Print Head configuration. The Makers of Robox have also pioneered an interesting Needle-valve system that prevents any Filament from oozing from the Needle/Print Nozzle unto your project when the Head moves from one task to another. The Makers have a 3D Scanning Head in the works along with a rotating Print Bed.  The Robox has the option of being fully enclosed, making it ideal for use around children as they would not be readily able to touch components, such as the Extruder, that could burn them; of course, adult supervision is always necessary none-the-less.
