“3D Printing” In Gel Using Suspended Deposition
In the video below a light-curing/light-sensitive Resin is suspended in Gel to create unique objects. This process is called Suspended Deposition. What makes this method of Fabrication so unique is that rather than placing down Layers of Resin on top of each other, Suspended Deposition has more freedom as it allows you to fill in a design/an object in one part of the Gel and place another design around the previous one. This make Suspended Deposition ideal for intricate works of art. Using a see-through Gel for your project doesn’t only add to the beauty of your project but also allows the added benefit of you being able to see your creation as it is made. Another major benefit of Suspended Deposition is being able to undo a process by sucking or scooping up Resin where you no longer want it to be.
